La Prosciutteria in the heart of Verona offers a rich selection of quality cold cuts, hand-sliced hams, succulent chopping boards, fondues, a few hot dishes and focaccia.
A vintage location in Piazza delle Erbe with a late nineteenth-century atmosphere that makes the place charming and romantic. There are about 80 seats distributed among marble, brass, old tiles covering the walls, reused tables, stools made from fruit crates, shelves made from elm wood olive crates.
On the upper floor of the restaurant there is a more private and quiet room, while a “must” that makes the restaurant unique is a delightful flowered terrace with very few tables for two that overlooks Piazza delle Erbe and becomes a privileged vantage point on one of the most evocative views of the city. Many wines are available by the bottle and by the glass, including the best wines of the Veneto region, from Amarone to Ripasso, Recioto and Prosecco.
Last but not least, it is possible to go shopping here and take home wines, preserves and all the products tasted, like an old but modern grocery shop.
