Castelnuovo del Garda

Castelnuovo del Garda is located 18 kilometres west of Verona and a small part of the municipality overlooks Lake Garda, although the area is especially developed among the gentle slopes of the moraine hills.
Among the main attractions worth seeing in Castelnuovo is the castle, which has stood in a dominating position over the centre of the town since 1387, then some well-preserved churches and noble villas. There are countless festivities in Castelnuovo, of a popular nature, distributed throughout the year, including festivals, exhibitions, food and wine fairs and concerts throughout the year.
The town is famous because it is home to Gardaland Resort, Italy’s number 1 amusement resort.
