To celebrate 100 years of the Arena di Verona Opera Festival, the evening of 6 August features Plácido Domingo, world-renowned eclectic artist, recognized as one of the best opera singers. A lyric tenot and an orchestra conductor, Domingo is protagonist of Arenian summers since its debut (which took place in 1969).
This evening is one of the season’s special events, including Roberto Bolle and Friends (July 19), Juan Diego Floréz in Opera-Arena 100 (July 23), Jonas Kaufmann in Opera-Arena 100 (Aug. 20) and Teatro alla Scala in Arena (Aug. 31).
