Also in summer 2023 “Roberto Bolle and Friends” will bring to the Arena di Verona an eagerly awaited programme combining classical, modern and contemporary dance.
This event is part of the programming of the Arena di Verona Opera Festival, which is celebrating its 100th edition this year.
Created in 2008 with the aim of bringing ballet to new venues, the “Roberto Bolle & Friends Gala” arrived in the Arena in 2012. Since then it has become a regular and much-loved event. Alongside Roberto Bolle, the first dancer to be both an Étoile at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan and Principal Dancer at the American Ballet Theatre in New York, the top stars of ballet from the most prestigious companies will perform.
This evening is one of the season’s special events, including Juan Diego Floréz in Opera-Arena 100 (July 23), Plácido Domingo in Opera-Arena 100 (Aug. 6), Jonas Kaufmann in Opera-Arena 100 (Aug. 20) and Teatro alla Scala in Arena (Aug. 31).
